It may not be ‘cool’ but I’ve always enjoyed working with numbers and and finance. Whether that’s analysing data and using numbers to gain understanding or working out the solution to a problem to make the numbers balance.
My favourite number? Pie, of course. hmmm pie….
James is a first class finance professional with an exceptional track record in improving company bottom lines.
He has spent the last 11 years working with a wide range of companies to improve efficiencies and bottom lines. James was formerly the CFO of a trade federation for one of the UK’s leading industries. Its member companies ranged from start-ups to large multi-nationals. James was responsible for the financial and legal operations and reported directly to the board of directors in his role as Company Secretary. James has also acted as Finance Director and Company Secretary for numerous organisations and been a trustee of both charities and pension schemes. A published author on the pensions’ crisis, he has worked with Managing Directors of SMEs and global corporations and acted as an Executive Director managing a multi-professional team including HR, IT, facilities and other support functions. James was named as one of the UK top five Young Finance Directors of the Year by the CBI.
